How and What to Switch

Can’t remember what to switch? No worries! We will provide you with a list of your automatic payments and direct deposits so you don’t have to remember what needs to be switched over. Then you can switch them over with the click of a button. Check out the quick and easy steps as well as a few examples of what you could switch over:

  1. Get Your Account. Select and sign up for the Bank of Oak Ridge checking account that fits your lifestyle.
  2. Ask for your Code.  Ask a banker for your unique and secure ClickSwitch login. Reach out through our contact form or call us at 336.644.9944 to get started.
  3. Login to receive your Direct Deposit & Automatic Payment List. No need to hunt down your automatic payments. Access a list of your current direct deposits and automatic payments from your old institution with SwitchAssist.
  4. Select the Institution You’d Like Switched. Log in to your ClickSwitch portal and use the search tool to find and select the deposit or payment you’d like switched over to your Bank of Oak Ridge account (Example: Search ‘Netflix’ if you’d like your Netflix payment switched over).
  5. Answer the Quick & Simple Questions  Answer any relevant questions that populate for that institution (usually 2-3 basic questions) and click submit.
  6. Click Submit and your Paperwork is Off! You can also save and finish later.
